Every Issue Dot will bring you a new writing challenge. The best three works (either stories or poems) that meet the requirements of the challenge will be posted right here on Dot’s Challenge page. To reward you for your efforts, Dot has some surprises for the winners. So get those thinking caps in place because here is Dot’s first challenge.
 Dot’s Challenge #1: Fall Frenzy
Dot realizes that summer vacation is on everyone’s minds but he’s looking forward to the premier fall issue due out on September 15th. Dot’s selected three things that makes him think of fall. Use these three items in a story or a poem. You must use the words exactly as they appear.
When you have finished, please bold the words in the story or poem and include it in the body of an e-mail. If you don’t know how, please ask your parents to help you. All submissions should be sent to submissions@kidlitszine.com. from a parent’s e-mail address. Please refer to the submission guidelines for detailed instructions.
All submissions for this challenge are due by AUGUST 15th, 2009.
Remember, you must use all three words exactly as they appear (excluding capital letters.)
